But, adhesive vinyl isn’t just for signs! Recently, one of our customers came to us with a unique request - to find a way to adhere artwork to a pair of old snow skis.  We chose adhesive vinyl to help us do this job.  

Adhesive vinyl is an inexpensive, flexible and versatile material that can be used to make custom signs and logos for businesses or personal use. It is commonly used to create outdoor and indoor graphics for advertising, but adhesive vinyl can also be used to decorate walls, windows and other areas of a business or home.  The material can be used in digital printing to create vibrant designs and images, it can be cut into almost any shape and size, and the adhesive backing sticks to almost any curved or flat non-coarse surface within seconds.  Adhesive vinyl is durable, water-resistant, and holds up very well in hot and cold temperatures.  

So, when a local graphic designer, Patrick Fesler, brought in some awesome artwork he needed adhered to some old snow skis, our go-to material was adhesive vinyl.  We digitally printed the images and then laminated them for durability.  They were then applied and trimmed to fit the skis.  Patrick is using these skis for display purposes only.  We don’t recommend using this type of application for actual skis, but for display purposes it’s perfect!  

Custom vinyl decals can be used in a retail shop window or on a car, displaying a business logo, or larger lettering or vinyl banners can be displayed on a window or glass door.  We’ve also attached vinyl prints to drumheads and vinyl lettering to crew oars among other things.  What’s next?!  Send us your ideas!
